BOARD OFFICERS

President-Elect:
Performs duties of the President in his or her absence. Assumes
presidency the following year. Chairs certain professional
committees and is responsible for planning/coordinating
educational programs.


Secretary:
Records and prepares minute reports of board and business
meetings for distribution to board and members.


Treasurer:
Serves as chair of the financial planning committee. Prepares
budget for upcoming fiscal year. Is primarily responsible for all
funds and securities of the association. Reports on the financial
status of the association to the board and members.


Members-At-Large (2):
Prepares and maintains the membership directory and serves as
the association's historian.


Nomination Committee (3):
Prepares the slate of candidates for office and notifies the board
and members of election results. Responsible for coordinating
and sending award applications to FDA.

Outstanding Dietitian of the Year (ODY):
Must be an active member of JDA, FDA & ADA
Not previously selected as ODY


Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year (RYDY):
Must be an active member in JDA, FDA & ADA
Age limit 35 years or younger

Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year (RDTY):
Must be an active member of JDA, FDA & ADA
Not previously selected as RDTY


Emerging Dietetic Leader of the Year (EDLY):
Active participation in JDA, FDA & ADA for at least 5 years
5 to 10 years of practice experience
Not previously selected as EDLY, RYDY or RDTY
